MDBE Freshman Scholarship

    Mission Statement:
To provide a resource for all brothers, new members and officers alike, for academic support to further ensure academic excellence in Sigma Alpha Epsilon. There will be obtainable, yet challenging goals set in place to encourage growth within our chapter, and the fraternal network will be utilized to facilitate academic achievement, success and professional development.

    New Members:
For new members, our chapterís standards for academic achievement will be stringently enforced through study hours that are scheduled each week. The new members will receive guaranteed time to focus on academics during their transition into Greek life, which sometimes can be a distraction to new members. For all members, the importance of academics is covered weekly in chapter meetings and brothers who have made academic achievements are recognized and rewarded for their hard work. For brothers who may not be achieving at a desired level, we have developed an Academic Monitoring Program (AMP) to provide additional assistance as needed.
